Redruth Gateway is part of the Redruth Strategic Employment Growth Package (RSEGP); a set of schemes designed to aid the growth and development of the Redruth area, both economically and environmentally. The scheme involves major works on the A3047 to Blowinghouse roundabout, and numerous walking and cycling schemes in the area.

In line to finish with the contractual program, the A3047 scheme is approaching it finals stages. The final surface is being applied to the footpaths and the tactile paving is being laid. The landscaping of Blowinghouse roundabout is underway, continuing down through Tolgus to the Portreath roundabout.
The team will be on site in to January 2018 carrying out finishing touches and quality inspections. The new traffic signals will be activated late December/early January.
