Environment
Cormac maintains areas of council-owned land ranging from footpaths, playgrounds, communal areas, shrub and flower beds, and grassed areas in line with the standards laid down in Cornwall Council’s environment service standards.
Our role is to support the protection, management and enhancement of Cornwall’s rich and varied landscape, its unique wildlife and provide good quality public open spaces.
During the grass cutting season, which falls between March and October, we cut and maintain grass verges in towns and other urban areas within 30mph speed limits, for safety and visibility reasons.
The speed of growth is always influenced by the weather conditions and this may result in longer grass between cuts or changes to our schedule.
To find out when we will be in your local area to cut the grass or carry out other maintenance activities in our parks and open spaces, please click on the links below.
Schedules are being published on a weekly basis by Community Network Area. If your area is not listed, this means that we do not have works planned in your area for that working-week. Please remember to check the pages regularly for up to date information.
