Tavistock Pannier Market
We are delighted to have been chosen by Tavistock Town Council to carry out refurbishment work to the perimeter of the historic Pannier Market.
Work will start week beginning Monday 11 February. It is expected to take around ten weeks, although adverse weather conditions may cause unavoidable delays.
We will remove the existing surface and replace it with new granite paving, granite setts and resin-bonded paving. All associated drainage and utility services will be installed, including upgrading the existing lighting. The water fountain is to be recommissioned, ironwork raised, and the mosaic map will be relocated to another part of the market.
The existing walkway will remain open, with fencing to protect the general public. Work will be carried out in segments, clockwise around market.
Market traders and shops will continue to trade as usual throughout the works.
