A39 Falmouth Gateway - Treluswell Roundabout

Treluswell is a busy junction linking key roads from Falmouth, Penryn, Helston, Truro and Redruth and this scheme has seen the two smaller double roundabouts replaced with one single roundabout.

The approach lanes on the A39 from Truro have been extended by around 14 metres - the maximum distance we have been able to extend the carriageway due to the constraints of the nearby railway bridge - and a filter lane has also been introduced on the roundabout for traffic heading from Truro to Falmouth.

We have also been able to create a new access point on to the A39 for the residents of Penvale Villas, replacing a previously dangerous junction at this location.
