Keeping children, young people and vulnerable adults safe is everyone’s responsibility.
CORMAC is committed to helping keep children, young people and vulnerable adults stay safe. We aim to ensure that every employee or CORMAC volunteer recognises their responsibility to safeguarding and is able to recognise a potential safeguarding issue and know how to respond appropriately.
We train our staff and give practical guidance on what to look out for, what to do if a member of staff suspects there is a safeguarding issue, how to deal with a disclosure and additional information on other key strands of safeguarding.
