Doing business with Cormac

Our commitment

Cormac is committed to an ambitious programme of growth. In Cornwall that means constantly innovating and improving the civil engineering, surfacing and environmental services we provide, and strengthening our connections with the institutions and community groups we serve. Growth means stepping up our activity beyond Cornwall too, building on our proven track record in collaboration and our unique community-facing approach. We welcome the opportunity for new partnerships with public bodies, Councils, community groups and consulting civil engineers across the South West.

Our Commitment

At Cormac we are immensely proud of the cutting-edge design and management techniques we bring to every project we undertake in civil engineering, surfacing or the environment.  But, no matter how innovative the structures we build, or how effective our project management solutions, it is the people and relationships that matter.  That’s why we are constantly focused on our own great workforce, our partners and on the communities we serve together.  This approach is inspired by our roots in Cornwall, and the communities we live and work in. We call it real world expertise.

In Cornwall that means constantly innovating and improving the civil engineering, surfacing and environmental services we provide and strengthening our connections with the institutions and community groups we serve.

But growth means stepping up our activity beyond Cornwall too, building on our proven track record in collaboration and our unique community-facing approach.  We welcome the opportunity for new partnerships with public bodies, councils, community groups and consulting civil engineers across the South-West.

Our History

As a company, Cormac was founded in 2012 as an arm's length management organisation (ALMO), part of the Corserv group of companies which is wholly-owned by Cornwall Council

Today, we are one of the most highly-regarded, trusted and well-known companies in the South West and a major employer in the region.  All profits made from the projects we deliver, inside and outside the county, are paid back to Cornwall Council annually.
