China Clay Area and Luxulyan

It is that time of year again, the salt barns are full and when the weather demands it, Cornwall’s gritters will be ready for action. Weather stations in key areas provide real-time information, assisting us in producing accurate forecasts to ensure we send gritters out to the right places, at the right time. Our dedicated team of duty engineers monitor the weather 24/7 during the season, supported by highways staff, and our drivers are on standby day and night.
