Newquay Strategic Route

Work on the new transport link Newquay Strategic Route, is well underway. Due to open in Summer 2024, Cormac are delivering the project on behalf of Cornwall Council, in partnership with Network Rail and the Duchy of Cornwall. The finished route will connect the Nansledan development to the A392 at Hendra roundabout. Our recently captured aerial footage shows a flyover of the new route from Market Street, Nansledan and takes in the newly installed, pre-cast concrete BEBO arches that will form the bridge over the watercourse that feeds in to the River Gannel. Seven arches were installed in total, together with pre-cast concrete VSoL wall panels, which will form a causeway either side of the arch.
